Rules:
Drama
Drama is welcome in game, as long as it makes sense. Drama out of the game is not, and bringing OOC drama ICly, or the other way around will not be appreciated.
Godmoding
Godmoding will not be tolerated in Mercury City Supers. The Administrator and other moderators will look at posts for such happenings and will also look into such incidents when/if reported.
We will give any who go against this rule only two chances.
Character Killing
Character killing falls under godmoding.
Character killing happens when your character kills a named character, be they NPC or PC without the permission of the administrator in the case of the NPC, and without the permission of both the administrator and the PC character's owner.
Remember, in the case of killing a PC, the owner of said PC needs to write as an OOC note or in PM form to the admin that the character killing said character had permission.
And in the case of a character killing a PC/NPC without permission, it will turn out that the character killed will miraculously recover and was never dead in the first place. Due to the nature of this as a world with superpowers existing, and how things go in comic universes, this works. Really. Also, the character that did the killing will be killed in form of a OoC warrant posted in the thread where it occurred. All other characters- of a lawful nature- will be expected to help make this occur, or else the local law enforcement in that city will appear escorted by The Administrator. The law enforcement in that city will shoot that character to kill. This can lead to an interesting set up in game, if one wants it to, willingly.
Dead characters are not moved to the NPC bin, but their character sheet thread names will be changed to show that they are dead.
Power playing
Power playing, the use of other's characters without their permission is also not tolerated. Anyone found power playing will be held to the same punishments as god-moding. THIS ALSO COUNTS TOWARD YOUR TWO COUNT CHANCE WITH GOD-MODING. ON YOUR THIRD CHANCE YOU WILL BE KICKED OUT.
Note on power playing: We will only count it as power playing unless the owner of the other character in question sends permission to the Administrator for the one allowed to use the character. This must be done prior to the allowed use.
Literacy
The Administrator expects that all roleplayers will show themselves literate. We will not stand members who will not bother to put a small effort into their spelling and grammar. Length is not a large issue, but The Administrator would prefer that you try and make your posts more than ten words long.
Double Posting
Double posting is allowed so long as it is has a decent amount of time between the posts and makes sense for it do be in different posts.
in mind.
