In an attempt to streamline things for now and to boost actual activity, we will currently be running only Mercury City for now into the unforeseen future.
Don't worry, though, your posts and the other cities are not gone, just hidden from view.
Once we hit a threshold for characters and players in Mercury, the other cities will slowly begin to reopen, beginning with Blackwork.

Blackwork city was kind of the "slums" area of MCS, and I feel the loss of that may leave little place for some characters. I also feel that the current Mercury City forum is simply too little to accurately represent the city.

To take this into account, i propose the following Sub Forums to be added to Mercury City:
Beauregard Heights Beauregard Heights is a collection of affluent neighborhoods. Its central location in Mercury City has made it a locus of commercial development, with several high-rise office buildings. Housing is a mixture of low- and high-rise apartment buildings, mostly inhabited by young professionals and working-class families.
Unincorporated Mercury This area on the east side of the city limits is heavily populated with those below the poverty line. While not technically part of the city itself, Unincorporated Mercury regardless borrows many of the cities resources, such as law enforcement to reduce it's above average crime rate.

Seconded, on both counts. Either that or places which fulfil those roles are slid into the existing subforums (having too many'd just put everything back where we were activity-wise, possibly)

I think that a 20 minute drive is a lot easier to justify to a character than a maglev train all the way across the county. There are multiple reasons someone someone from the slums might find themselves in middle class or even upper class neighborhood - alot fewer than the reasons you would go to mineapolis, even if the maglev is within easy access.
