Superhero alias: Faunwen
Gender/Sex: Male
Age: 19
Height: 5'11
Physique: Lithe. He has very little muscle or body fat, and his naturally high metabolism coupled with the extra energy he uses with his powers mean that he stays slim. He has shoulder length light blond hair, and is very effeminate in appearance, actively seeking to look androgynous. It's very difficult to tell at a glance whether he's male or female.
Costume description: A rarity among supers that actually wish to keep a modicum of dignity, Faunwen's costume is made of spandex, as it's the only material hat won't rip or fall off when he changes size. The outfit is black, and manages to look as stylish as it's possible for a bodystocking to look.
Powers/Abilities: Partial animal shapeshifting. Faunwen is able to take on the characteristics of various animals, and to mix and match these as he sees fit. For example, he could give himself a gorilla's musculature, or a porcupine's quills, or an eagle's wings and bone structure. He is also capable of turning completely into an animal, but he never does this as he's not certain he'd want to turn back again, and he has no desire to live out his life as an animal.
Home City: Walsh
Citizen Alias: Robin Nudd
Backstory: Robin is an art student at Walsh College. He's always been very a home in the countryside and loves animals. He was out hiking through the woods one day during the holidays, when there was a buzzing sound, and an arrow flew out of the undergrowth and shot into his leg. Yelling out in pain, he naturally dropped to the ground. He began to fumble for his first aid kit as best he could through the blinding pain, but before he reaced it the archer stepped out of the bushes.
The creature looked human, mostly, but the proportions were all wrong. It was too thin, too angular, and its face had an unearthly quality to it, almost beauty yet somehow horrific. it smiled a cruel smile as it looked over its downed prey, and reached for a belt knife, no doubt to finish him off. But then it stopped. It sniffed the air. Robin held his breath.
"Your blood smells very interesting. Why is that, do you suppose?"
Robin had no answer.
"Maybe you are more fun alive. I think I might watch you. Don't disappoint me, mortal."
It smiled that cruel smile again, then turned and disappeared into the foliage again without a sound.
The ambulance reached him presently, he'd managed to phone as soon as he'd got the bleeding under control. They'd asked some very pointed questions about why an arrow was sticking out of his leg, though, and didn't seem very satisfied with the answers.
Eventually, Robin managed to sleep, kept in the hospital overnight for observations. He dreamed of flying; he often did. He didn't normally wake up in the morning with wings, though.
