Name: Andrew Whitney Albright
Gender/Sex: Male
Age: 35
Height: 5'10"
Physique: Fit and solidly built; however, has recently been going slightly paunchy.
Hair: Brown.
Eyes: Green.
Clothing description: when not in his work suit, a mishmash of anything he has (mostly either stuff too solid to get damaged (jeans and such) or too cheap to worry about getting damaged).
Occupation: Auto mechanic/Special Officer for the Emergency Services.
Home City: Mercury City
Housing location: Willmore City (a Mercury City satellite).
Backstory:
Andrew Albright was born as the second son of a dockworker in Willmore City, one of Mercury City's satellite towns (effectively a suburb). His older brother, Randall, was always the one he looked up to, because Randall had the smarts-- and he proved it, going to college and then to law school, before returning to Mercury City to become a criminal prosecutor for the city government. Andrew, however, had far different interests; whereas Randall looked to the law, Andrew had always had a thing for the road.
While he didn't especially excel, Andrew did graduate from Mercury University, taking with him a degree in auto mechanics, and set out to open his own auto garage. It took him a while, but he finally succeeded in 2016, and after that he settled down to a relatively comfortable life of work by the Bay. While there were better spots in the city to open a garage, Albright intentionally set up where he did in order to take advantage of the rich side of the city-- partly because of the money, but more because of the sheer variety of cars, especially old cars, that he could see while working there.
And that, for four years, was that. Then the Mercury Bay Massacre tore Andrew's quiet life apart, and left him waking up in a hospital with sort of a lame duck set of superpowers. Despite not getting the best draw of the lot, however, he vowed as always to make the best of things, and after some consideration chose the best outlet possible to apply his new abilities-- namely, the city's Emergency Services.
While he technically still works as a mechanic today, Andrew is on call whenever needed, to help the E-Services keep Mercury City's citizenry safe. The additional paycheck has helped him get his garage rebuilt considerably faster than it took to get it up the first time, as well as moving it to the inner (western) suburbs and greatly expanding the staff. Andrew makes no secret of his second job, either, using the additional publicity to help along his main business (besides the fact that he really does love the attention).
